Wind Power, revised edition: Renewable Energy for Home,Farm and Business
This reviewer was very pleased with the quality and thoroughness of this title. The level of detail presented herein was very helpful in giving the reader a complete picture of whats really involved in putting up, operating and using a wind-based Renewable Energy (RE) system. Very helpful are the many graphs and charts which provide organization and understanding of the numerous technical aspects of the subject. -
WInd Energy Basics : A Guide to small and micro wind systems
I'm sure this is a wonderful book. However, I, rather ignorantly, was expecting "small" and "micro" to actually mean small and micro! These are still huge systems on towers three times the height of a house! I'm glad it was just a library book, because I feel the title doesn't accurately describe the book. -

The book covers some important Wind Power aspects from A to Z - from technical issues to project development and commercial feasibility analysis. I strongly recommend this book to any one interested in the Wind Power or Renewable Energy business. -
Wind Power in Power Systems
I would compare this to Siegfried Heier's "Grid Integration of Wind Energy Conversion Systems." On the whole, I think Ackermann's book is more comprehensive, although Heier is more complete on low level engineering. Frankly, I think the titles should be interchanged. -
